Async review / packaging

Make your GitHub feel more technical, focused, and hireable.

I offer compact async review for GitHub profile positioning, pinned repo cleanup, README polish, and portfolio-page packaging. This is based on the same cleanup principles behind my public profile, Resume (161★), CSAPPLabsAndNotes (70★), and recent code-focused OSS contributions across pflag, Prometheus, chi, golang-jwt, and HashiCorp libraries.

What I actually look at

  • bio / persona clarity
  • pinned repo order and role alignment
  • which weak repos should be hidden, archived, or ignored
  • README structure, scope, and credibility
  • portfolio / resume-site wording and first impression
  • whether your profile looks like coursework-only noise
  • whether your best work feels reusable or abandoned
  • whether your public proof of work matches your target role
  • how to make your GitHub convert into interviews, referrals, or collaboration
  • where to add or remove CTA / support / contact friction

How it works

  1. Pay via WeChat Pay or Alipay on the support page.
  2. Email the public links, target role, what feels weak, and a payment screenshot to happysnaker@foxmail.com.
  3. I reply with compact, prioritized feedback and ready-to-paste edits.

Best subject line: Async review | target role | repo/profile link.

What the deliverable feels like

  • a blunt 10-second first-impression read
  • which repos to keep pinned vs hide
  • which README paragraph to rewrite first
  • a better target story for your GitHub
  • specific next OSS contribution directions if your profile lacks outside proof of work
  • not a giant vague report
  • not generic “just improve your projects” advice
  • meant to give you decisions and pasteable wording fast
  • best when your GitHub already feels embarrassing, random, or too student-like

If you want to preview the tone and structure first, see the redacted sample audit in github-profile-checklist.
